Born in Vaiyampatti, a village in Tiruchirappalli district, Tamil Nadu, Mr. Arumugam M grew up in a humble farming family. His journey from a government school student to a successful entrepreneur reflects sheer determination and lifelong learning. After completing his ITI and working as a diesel mechanic, he pursued a BBA from Bharathidasan University, Trichy — driven by his passion to grow and give back to his community.

He began his career as a Postmaster in the Indian Postal Department, balancing his professional life with his love for agriculture. Inspired by his interest in savings and finance, he envisioned creating a platform that would empower people to build financial security through collective growth — and thus, Sree Jayanathan Chits Pvt. Ltd. was founded in 2008.

With integrity, vision, and people-first leadership, Mr. Arumugam transformed a small local initiative into a trusted financial institution serving thousands across Tamil Nadu. He also uplifted his community by employing loyal customers from his hometown — nurturing both his team and his mission together.
